Friday Foto Finish 8.1

Mmmmmonkey Butts. This is one of my favorite fotos of the two little guys. I am sure that there was some sort of Food Network show on. They are actually lying on my meditation pillow (which I was sitting on before I got up to grab something quick).
Well, you can't show the backside without the front, so here it is. Aren't they just adorable.
Don't forget to participate in this weeks foto finish fiesta over at Carrie's Place.

Side Note: We will be on vacation next week, but we do have most of our posts ready to go up at 7:00 AM for the week. We will catch up on our comments and our favorite blogs when we get back on Friday.

Getting Ready to get Lost

We decided we needed to settle down a bit before Lost starts, so we practiced part of the Ashtanga Primary Series.  Bernardo is doing Upavistha Konasana or wide angled seated forward bend.  That is one of Jen's all time favorites.  Brian just rolls his eyes jealously when she plops down the the floor with ease.  Her butt sticks up just like Bernardos too!!  I am doing  hanumanasana or monkey pose!  They named a pose after monkeys!!! OMG that is awesome!!!  Brain has been practicing this one for a while and just two days ago made it on both sides.  It was pretty freaking awesome!!!!  Now, we are just waiting for Lost to start and find out how our cutie pie Kate is doing....  We still hope to run across her in the jungle and cuddle attack her.  She won't know what hit her!!!   Well, we are off to make popcorn and watch the show.  More posts tomorrow...  Monkeys out!

Field Trip 2.0

Well, Brian is a fuddy duddy!  He wouldn't let us come to yoga with him and he said I can't work on my Iron Man outfit because I might damage myself with the scissors!!  So instead we thought we would give you some more pics from our fun filled field trip to Jen's school. (nice alliteration, huh!)  This is B-man and I playing on the pencil sharpener.  He tried to convince me to put my tail in there and he would sharpen it for me, but I said "No...No...".  He would have unraveled me!!! Does he want to be a solo minkey?!?
Next, we played hide and seek and I found the best hiding place.  B-man didn't find me for almost an hour.  It was a good thing he found me when he did, it was getting pretty stinky in there.... I wonder why.....

Lastly, we decided to put the libraries copy machine to good use.  It made our butts nice and toasty warm.  Unfortunately, Jen found us and threw away the copy before we could post it.  She didn't think people would really be interested in looking at monkey butts on the internet.  I know I would find it interesting!

Teabagasana

For those of you non-sanskrit speakers 'teabagasana' translates to tea bag pose.  We invented it this morning by stealing, I mean 'barrowing' the tea bags Jen was using to make some Ice-T.   When she saw us, she must have been very impressed because she was speechless!!!  However she did come back a few minutes later and took them off our heads because they could stain our precious monkey yarn!!!  She later said that when Brian gets home from yoga, he can explain to us what tea-bagging is and why we shouldn't put theses on our heads again.  She can be such a fuddy-duddy sometimes!

Yoga Minkeys 2.0

I sure hope she finds us soon!!!

Yoga Minkeys 2

Well, we decided to have some fun and games in Jen's old Yoga mat.  I can see why she doesn't use it anymore, it smells like feet and sweat!  Gross!!!  However being a monkey, G-man is used to smelly and gross!  Maybe Jen will decide to use this mat, let's hide Bernardo!

Beautiful Day!

Today was the most beautiful day.... The sun was shining, and a soft breeze blowing in the air.  We came out onto the sun porch and meditated with the monkey statue while Jen practiced the Ashtanga primary series.  It was so peaceful and relaxing.  I hope we have more days like it soon!!!

Yoga Minkeys

After seeing Brian practicing yoga around the house, we decided to show him how a headstand is REALLY done! You can see Bernardo doing the traditional version, and I am practicing a very advanced version: Niralamba Sirsasana (Unsupported Headstand). I showed Brian, and he just muttered something about, "If I had a &*## melon like as big as HIS, I could do that!". Very spiteful...I know. I think he was just jealous. Then we watched "Hell's Kitchen" - Gordon Ramsay is hilarious!
