Helpful Minkees

Today, Jen is getting ready for an open house and is ubbercreative mode. She is making mala bracelets like no body's business. We are helping out by making sure the beads don't go anywhere while they aren't in use. See, aren't we helpful! (We even got our special ears on too!) Hopefully she will be done soon so we can have some serious play time. She's only got 30 more to go! Wish her luck!

Helping out

With summer vacation winding down, we decided to help Jen out (while shes shopping for school supplies) by working on her knitting. Bernardo is doing the actual knitting while I read him the pattern. We even have a marker to keep our place.

Apparently this guy shes knitting is named Feathers McGraw, whoever that is. He's looks like a penguin with a red rubber glove on his head. Weird, why would you want to put a rubber glove on your head? Some animals are just plain strange. We just hope he doesn't stay around too long. He kinda creeps us out!

Helping out...

We decided to be helpful little minkees today and vacuum the living room.  Jen and Brian are in the process of getting new carpet, but they still need to take care of this one...  

Anyway, Bernardo and I hopped on, hit the power and held on for dear life.  This puppy is wicked powerful.  We flew around the room at lightning speed.  It was scary!!!

Thats when Bernardo went into action.  He swooped down, a very daring move I say, and unplugged the vacuum before it could do any more damage.  He is pretty lucky he didn't get sucked up into this thing.  Like I said before, it is wicked powerful.  He is a very brave minkee if I do say so myself.

While down on the floor, Bernardo also found the 'Power Paw'.  That thing has some serious power! (hence the name)  It can pick up almost anything.  It has a lot of suction (insert giggles here).  He chased me around for a while, which was fun for a  while until......

So, that happend!!!  B-man, sometimes you can be such a butt!

Helping out...

It was a nice, warm, Midwestern day so we decided to be helpful little monkeys and volunteered to help hang the laundry outside.  It was very hard trying to hold onto the sheets, climb up the pole, scale along the wire, and then finally use these multipurpose clothes pins!  It took a while to get the sheets done, but we did it all by ourselves.  I hope it doesn't matter that we accidentally dropped them a few times (once in a mud puddle)!  We love to help out around the house!  When we were done, there were some clothes pins left, so of course we have to play with them.  The only problem is, once we got these on, we couldn't manage to get them off!  I think it would be helpful to have opposable thumbs.  Jen, get on that and when we need replacement parts, maybe then we will then be able to grip things!  Although, if it effects our cuteness quotient our answer is "NO..... NO..."
