Hide and Seek

Jen here. I came home from work today and the two little guys who almost always wait for me on this chair were nowhere to be found.

I dropped off my things and headed to the kitchen to make dinner and I heard faint giggling in the other room. Every time I headed into the living room the noises stopped, so I figured a couple of minkees were hiding from me.

I found Bernardo first. He apparently was playing Minkee of Arabia before I got home because he looked pretty stylish in my awesome new scarf! He wants me to call him Sir Bernardo tonight. I guess I'll play along.

Guillermo was a bit trickier to find. I looked at that knitting basket several times and thought it was just another knitting project I was working on. Well, if you know Guillermo he got a little pissed and insisted on me finding him by a series or righteous toots. Oops, I guess someone got a little cranky because he wasn't found first. Oh well, he'll live.

Now they sit staring at the T.V. chanting "Kate, Kate, Kate" in anticipation of Lost's 100th episode tonight. I am sure none of us will be disappointed. Can't wait to see what Faraday reveals.......

Guillermo and Bernardo, Any luck with the lady minkees? They must be elusive 'round those parts. And by "parts" I mean....your little minkee harbles.

Collective Answer:  We would like to have some ladies around here, but Jen refuses to make any.  Something about little baby monkeys running around.  We're not anatomically correct lady.  And N, what do you mean by 'harbles'?  If its what we think it is we once again say we're not anatomically coorect.  We may have doodles, but really they are just our tails.

Naked Monkees!!!

That's right ladies and gentlemen, We have thrown our scarves off and are basking in our nakedness.

We are free, monkees in our purist form.  We have been running around up here, hooting and playing like were back in the jungle!  Right now, we are looking for Kate and the others from Lost... (They don't seem to be in this jungle anymore, I wonder where they went?)

Since Jen and Brian are ignoring us, we can do what we want.  Like the lawn really needs to be mowed or the deck coated!  I know they can see us up here.   It's great to be a minkee!!!  Uh oh, the mower just turned off... Jen must be heading up here.... Where's my scarf????

Getting Ready to get Lost

We decided we needed to settle down a bit before Lost starts, so we practiced part of the Ashtanga Primary Series.  Bernardo is doing Upavistha Konasana or wide angled seated forward bend.  That is one of Jen's all time favorites.  Brian just rolls his eyes jealously when she plops down the the floor with ease.  Her butt sticks up just like Bernardos too!!  I am doing  hanumanasana or monkey pose!  They named a pose after monkeys!!! OMG that is awesome!!!  Brain has been practicing this one for a while and just two days ago made it on both sides.  It was pretty freaking awesome!!!!  Now, we are just waiting for Lost to start and find out how our cutie pie Kate is doing....  We still hope to run across her in the jungle and cuddle attack her.  She won't know what hit her!!!   Well, we are off to make popcorn and watch the show.  More posts tomorrow...  Monkeys out!
