And double as shower caps during suds and bubbles times......

They can be ear muffs.....

Or even shoes.....

But you better snatch them and throw them away quickly or else you are going to be living with very stinky minkees.

One Last Hurah

With the cold weather coming in we decided we better make the most of the day and spend it out on the sunporch. Its going to be too cold any day now and we won't want to go outside, even to play. Plus, the plants are going to have to come in soon and we aren't allowed to play on them inside. (We get too much dirt on the floor.....)For a while we played Tarzan and swung from plant to plant, hooting it up! We got some funny looks from the neighbors when we were hooting and I think we upset their dog too. He kept barking at us all day long. No, wait he does that every day.....
After our Tarzan games we played hide and go seek. It was alot of fun. The only problem is that when we play in the plants we get dirt all over us. We had to do some serious grooming of each other before we came inside. We were still a little dirty so we had to have an early suds and bubbles this week. Bubble time was AWESOME, we got to use some of Jen's Pumpkin Spice bubble bath and now we smell delicious! She can be so nice to us sometimes! She's a good creator.

Well, we better get going. House is on and this week is all about that cute little number 13! Meow! A monkey could cuddle the heck out of her!

Today, we are going to share an often unseen moment in our lives. We groom ourselves once our twice a week and take a suds and bubbles, but sometimes you need a little more than our little minkee mitts can handle. That's when Jen gets out this horribly loud apparatus. It is called a lint remover, and it gets rid of all those little pilly things that we get. It is usually pretty tickley and can be fun, sometimes I even toot to see if you can hear it over the motor.

However, she is NOT, I repeat, NOT, allowed to touch the fro (which both of us are trying to grow out) or our doodles/tail. You know what she did today!!! That's right, she went after my doodle!

'Jen, you know the rules, what do you think you were doing. What, it looked like I had a dingle berry. I like berries, whats the problem. Oh, that's what a dingle berry is. Well, I'm a fuzzy monkey, its bound to happen sooner or later!'

Going to the beach

Today we headed off to Hawaii for a beach adventure.  It was pretty cool!  The sun was shining, the breeze was blowing, it was wonderful!  We didn't get in the water, just played in the sand.  We made sand angels and everything.

We had to watch our backs though, there were tons of crabs and one of them tried to take Guillermo with them.  We are a bit sandy, but I am sure that tonight's suds and bubbles will easily take care of it!
He better be heading back.  The season finale of Hell's Kitchen is on and Guillermo has to get all gussied up for chef Cory.  Even though she was eliminated, we get to see her cooking again along side of Chrisina.  We are rooting for you Cory.  

Suds and Bubbles Day!

Well, its that time of the week my friends.  Our favorite day of the week, suds and bubbles day!!!  Here we are getting ready for our bath.  We don't want to be obscene and show you the actual event because we have to get naked.  While we enjoy being naked, Jen says we don't need to flaunt our bare selves on the internet.  There are enough photos of naked monkeys without the two of us showing ourselves off.

We just want our faithful readers to know that we do take our minkee hygiene very seriously!  No filthy minkees in this household.  Lots of suds and bubbles followed by careful grooming.  We also do our grooming in the other room away from Brian and Jen.  It is our minkee private time when we make ourselves clean and presentable to the public.  After suds and bubbles tonight, we are going to watch some t.v. and then adjourn to our luxury accommodations for the night.  Minkees out!
