Spa Vacation Pt 1

Upon arrival in Galena we decided we needed to relax.  So we did what anyone would do, headed for the HOT TUB!!!!

We got out our devil ducky and were ready to go when we were told we can't go into the tub because our fur will get into the filtration system and eventually break the hot tub down.

Oh well, There are other things to do in this house.

Bernardo and I got a rousing game of pool going.  Do you know how hard it is to hold those pool cues without fingers!

That Bernardo is quite the pool shark.  He won 15 bananas from me and $20 from Jen!  She stomped off muttering something about "I created you and you take my money" or something like that.

Playing pool was a lot of fun, but when your on a pool table you sometimes have to kick it up a notch!

Giggles were had by all.  It is good to be a monkey!

Spa Vacation

It is that time of year again for the family vacation to Galena! We always get to go along but this year we get the absolute luxury Spa Week!!!!!

There will be facials, ear rubs, monkey massages and the life transforming cashmere body wrap treatment! Our bodies will be transformed and we will have cashmere fur by the end of the week!

You thought we were cute and cuddly before! Just wait!

Helping out

With summer vacation winding down, we decided to help Jen out (while shes shopping for school supplies) by working on her knitting. Bernardo is doing the actual knitting while I read him the pattern. We even have a marker to keep our place.

Apparently this guy shes knitting is named Feathers McGraw, whoever that is. He's looks like a penguin with a red rubber glove on his head. Weird, why would you want to put a rubber glove on your head? Some animals are just plain strange. We just hope he doesn't stay around too long. He kinda creeps us out!

Hey Ladies....

Hey there!  Looking for something to this evening?  Well, Jen, Brian and a few of the clan are going out for the evening and we thought we would throw a party!  There is just a tiny bit of margarita mix left, so byob.

Get ready to party on down.  Unfortunately we don't have our address, so just wander around Galena Territory for a while until you find us.  We'll be the ones hooting it up.

Its Party Time

As soon as we made it up to Galena we just new what time it was.  Two words..... Party Time!  We found ourselves a couple of glasses and waited for Jen and Brian to pour us a few.  Which, by the way, didn't happen.  Those guys suck sometimes!  We made the most out of it though.  We went exploring the house while they brought in the bags and unloaded the groceries.  We were going to offer to lend a hand, but decided we needed to find all the cool things in the house first.

The first thing we saw when we made it to the basement was a fooze ball table.  We went into action  and played a few rounds.  In the end I got my butt kicked by Bernardo.  That minkee can play! 

 

Oh yeah, thats right.  I kicked Guillermo's tiny minkee butt at that game.  He was all whiney and crying, so I suggested we go over to the air hockey table and play a few.  Well, maybe that wasn't such a good suggestion.....

OMG!!!!!  Do you know what happens when you turn on an air hockey table?!?  Air comes shooting out of the little holes and makes things on the table float..... Including little 12" tall minkees.  You should have seen us flying across the table.  One time I was in perfect position and I farted in Bernardo's face which sent my flying across to the other side.  He however was not happy with me and I need to go make it up to him soon...

After play time was over (and I apologized a gazillion times)  we headed upstairs to take a nap in our room.  Who knew that playing could be so tiresome?

Poopsies!!!

OMG!!!!  Look what we found at Poopsies in Galena!!!!!  Rainbow Monkey Bandages!!!!!!!!  I can't believe it.  

And it came with a free monkey toy with a fez!!!  I think it is playtime!
Jeeeeeennnnnn, Bernardo pushed me and I have an cut.  I need a band aide!

Getting Ready for Galena

We are getting ready to head off to Galena for the week.  It is a great little town with lots of cool shops.  I personally am looking forward to going to Poopsies.  Yep, that is the name of an actual store up there.  I can't say it without giggling!  

Speaking of giggling, Jen hasn't stopped since she came into the room and saw this.  I just wanted to be sure to take my goggles so I can go swimming.  Jen tells me I can't go, but I am going to work my little monkey mojo.  I think I can convince her. Wish me luck!

Home Alone

Well, Jen and Brian left for vacation so we did what we felt was necessary.  We donned some undies, hopped on the couch and grabbed the remote.  Bernardo is on a recon mission to get some beer from the fridge.  I hope he has the arm strength to get it open.

Well, that was a wash.  That fridge door was too hard to open.  We'll have to make do without any.  Lets see if there are any R rated movies on that we normally don't get to watch.....
What was that sound?!?  Is that the garage door opening?!?  They aren't gone yet.  Hide the Cheetos!  Get out of these undies before Brian sees us and makes fun....  "Oh, hello Jen....  What are we doing?  Um, just hanging out.  We thought you were gone...... Oh, you don't leave until Monday.....  We get to go with you on vacation!  Awesome!"
