Oh My.......God of War III

Today a mysterious package arrived on our doorstep. At first we thought it was the Twilight graphic novel we order but to our surprise it was the latest God of War game!!!!! Holy monkey butts Guillermo, we got a kick *ss game in the mail!
Here's to an evening filled with Kratos, cyclops', gods, minions, harpies, and tons of fun!!!!

Crap, its rated M for mature. I guess we will have to watch Jen and Brian play........

While Jen is away, the minkees do play!

Is it time for parent teacher conferences?  No, those are in two weeks.  Has there been volleyball and football games after school?  No?  Must be a lot of parent meetings.  Yes, that's it.  Too bad for her.  She looks busy when she gets home.  We think she needs more naps!

She's gone, we play!!!!!

Well, in her absence, we decided to play with the new lanterns Jen got to hang out on the sunporch for the next time they host game night.  We have to play with them now because we aren't allowed to play out there when company is over.  Unless its N, but he's in Morocco for a while, so I guess that won't be happening any time soon.

It is more fun staying inside anyway.  Who wants to play heroclix or zombies?!?  We get shut in the bedroom with full access to the sock drawer!!!

Hope they have company soon!

By the way, make sure to stop by on Friday for Candid Carrie's Fx4.  There won't be a picture of us this week, but the elusive N who met our uncle in Morocco.  He looks like a nice fella!

Hide and Seek

With the extra long weekend, we decided that we needed to have some fun and play a few games.  We played pool for a while in the basement, and switched it up to some ping pong action later in the day.  We also played Jen and Brian in a fantastic game of poker, but I lost all my chips in the first two hands and threw a fit (no poo though, especially after last week)  Lastly, we decided to play hide and seek.

For a little fun, lets play Eye-spy.  I spy two knit minkees (one of which is stinkee), a giraffe, 7 flying animals, 3 dogs, a skunk, a squirrel and a red nosed ape.  Good luck, they are all actually in there.

Now, lets hope Jen and Brian find us soon so we can play with them next.  Plus one of our favorite shows is on tonight, and we need to put some sauuuuuuccccceeeeee on it!!!!!

Multipurpose Bag

Mmmmmm.  Jen stopped off at the local Subway on her way home from yoga last night to get a veggie sandwich.   She loves those things.  I always ask her for a cucumber to put on my head (on top of a napkin of course), which she forgot.  Way to go butt head!  Um, sorry about the butt head thing.
After she finished eating I went into action playing with the bag.  I decided to turn it into a poncho so I could go outside in the rain.  Yep, it rained here again.  No power outages, thank goodness.  We watched us some Tony Bourdain and Kitchen Nightmares.  I get to cuss when Gordon Ramsay is on the T.V. screen, so I had a blast.  At one point I got a little carried away and there was a threat to wash my mouth out with soap, to which I say no thank you and quieted down.

The unfortunate part of hanging out in the bag (besides the sound it made every time I moved) was the fact that I created a giant dutch oven.  They made me sleep out on the sunporch all by myself because of 'the smell'.  Well, I'm not doing that again!  I hope they let me sleep in the executive suites tonight.

"Jeeeeennnnnnnn, I'm sorry I called you a butt head.  Can I play in your sock drawer today?  Pleeeeaaaassssseeeee!"

Cute Sharks

Here we are playing one of our favorite games, cute shark.  You have to have the theme from Jaws going through your head.  Da da, da da, etc, but exchange cute shark, cute shark, etc.  We chase each other around the room and sometimes climb up on Jen and Brian.  Jen always laughs because our little minkee butts wiggle around when we are playing.  This is us playing on the old ucky carpet. It is actually a dark brown, you can't tell because of the flash.  You can see all the stuff from the apartment behind us on the sun porch.  It was quite depressing with no furniture in here for a few days, but we managed.
We're all better now.  Look at this new carpet.  Way nicer, more plush and it has that new carpet smell.  We keep making fun of the name, Haystack.  We could have come up with a better name, like fluffy monkey pie.  We need the job of naming carpet or paint colors.  That would be fun.  And we could help pay our part around here.  Maybe get ourselves minkee hammocks or something or a pretty bobble for Jen's b-day later this month.  Who knows what we would buy.
Anyway....  While playing cute shark, we made it outside and found a few unused smoke bombs from the neighbors party.  Crafty Bernardo used his five finger/nipple hand discount and took them.  We usually aren't big on fireworks.  The word fire makes us run in fear, we don't want to get all burned up.  But maybe if we ask nice and get adult assistance we can play with the smoke bombs.  It may cover the smell of one of my farts. :()

Also, don't forget to add your questions for our weekly segment: Ask A Monkey.  You can ask more than one, ask a specific monkey, what have you.  We look forward to hearing from you.

Guillermo Out...

Chillin like villins

What better way to spend a three day weekend than hanging out and enjoying the weather.  At least until the big storm hit last night.  What a doosey!  However, this weekend was all about having fun and relaxing.  We channeled our inner minkee and swung around the sun porch and the apartment.  We hooted like minkees and scared the next door neighbors dog!  (which is a good thing, she never stops barking when she's outside.)  We also laid out so I can work on becoming even more mocha brown.  There was even a few rounds of our favorite minkee games like Scrabble, Twister, Zombies and the all time best game ever; Barrel of Monkeys!   All in all a pretty good weekend.  I wonder what Jen and Brian did?

Look what we found!!!!

It is amazing what you can find with a little diggin through the cupboards. B-man had the great idea of putting these on our heads. He says he feels like king tut in his hat. Well that just cracked me up because tut sounds like 'toot' which is one of the things minkeys love to do (especially this minkey)!!! After a while, I decided I would try to do a headstand with my cool new hat on. It was tricky getting up there. Bernardo sat back and watched, he was too chicken to try... BAWK, BAWK Bernardo, BAWK, BAWK!!! Now, here is where the problem lies. With this thing on my head, I couldn't get back down from my headstand and I had to do A LOT of apologizing to get some help from you know who. After much pleading and tooting in fear, Bernardo helped me down and we continued to play. I took off my hat and turned it into a megaphone and jumpped up on B-man's hat and had some fun. I was shouting orders to Jen, like "keep on dusting", "that mirror isn't going to clean itself" and "you missed a spot". She looked a bit irritated with me, but she just left us alone. I think she said something under her breath about some new dust rag she could use, and was wondering how yarn could help pick up dust. I don't know what she was talking about?!? Unfortunatley, I had an accidental toot (or five) on Bernardo's head and the fun and games were over. Oh, well... I am sure we can find something else to play with.... I wonder what's in the fridge?

Skool!!!

Tomorrow it is take your knit animals to work day (at least for Jen and Cara it is!)  We are looking forward to some scholarly adventures and I hear there may be a field trip in the works....  What can two knit monkeys and a dog do on a field trip?  Let's see where tomorrow's festivities take us!!!  It is going to be awesome!!!

By the way, we just recently graduated from minkey charm school, so we will be on our best minkey behaviors.  I hope Foster the dog doesn't turn us to the dark side and get us in trouble!

Dutch Oven

OMG!  When reading the May publication for the Radish, one of our free local healthy living magazines, they were advertising A DUTCH OVEN COOK OFF!!!!!  I didn't know you could cook via Dutch Oven!!!  Now I have an excuse to fart in bed even more!!! I wonder what I can cook under there! My day is getting better and better.

By the way, check out our cuteness!!!  Jen left out a shirt and we turned it into fun and games.  Brian is always telling her to put her things away (she is a bit messy!) so we thought we would teach her a lesson about why she should pick up after herself.  I have been practicing that Dutch Oven thing in here all day.  She isn't going to get this minky stink out of this shirt for four washes!!!  I think I better stop soon, Bernardo looks a little green!  Guillermo out!

Afternoon fun and games

While Jen and Brian were off to work we got out the Scrabble and had some fun.  We tried to stick to funny or monkey related terms.  I rifled through the tiles and found my favorite words, banana powers, butt, fart, you know the usual funny ones.  Bernardo was too technical saying I can't spell and he challenged most of my words.  He even got out the dictionary if you can believe that.  I wish I could spell better so he wouldn't make fun of me.  After we finished playing, we picked up our things, made some tea and waited for them to come home.  All in all it was a fun day!
